The Metrics tab is provided with Cruise Control out of the box.

It shows a historical build timeline, with good and bad builds in blue and red.

Notes
When cruisecontrol is installed on unix systems where xwindows is not installed you will have to edit cruisecontrol.sh to get the metrics tab to work. Open cruisecontrol.sh and locate the CC_OPTS section. Once there add -Djava.awt.headless=true to the property.
